BLOG TOUR: Gone by Michelle Flick

Yes! Hello. Today I have the pleasure of hosting a tour for Michelle Flick's latest novel, Gone.

First up, take a look at the gorgeous cover for Gone:

Here's the teaser for Gone:

Tess Walters’ life is perfect. She has everything she’s ever wanted all wrapped up in her boyfriend Alec. But Alec has a different plan and one day, he’s gone.

Tess is devastated. She doesn’t remember how to be herself and she doesn’t want to. Her family believes she needs to move on and get over him. It’s easier said than done. Tess doesn’t know where to begin because everywhere she turns, she thinks of Alec. She doesn’t think this heartbreak will ever stop.

Eventually, Tess finds comfort in places she never realized she had. From there she discovers a person she never knew she could be.

Awesome? You bet it is.

And now, the author . . .

Michelle can be found in WNY with her family, where she teaches 8th grade English Language Arts. If she's not with her family, she can be found gardening, avoiding her planned workouts, and drinking coffee. You can find her at @mflick729 and https://www.facebook.com/mflick729. She would love to hear from you.

And of course . . .

Here's where you can get yourself a copy of Gone (which you really, really, should do, like now).

Kindle/Kindle Unlimited:

Paperback: (The Full Cover is stunning!)

Something more about the author . . .

Like many avid readers, Michelle has a certain list of interest regarding the books she has enjoyed. So here is her listing of . . . yes, you may have guessed . . . Book Boyfriends!

Top 5 Book Boyfriends

1.      Dmitri – From the Vampire Academy Series – What is hotter than a built, tall, Russian who can kick ass? Oh one, that loves me, er, I mean Rose Hathaway with all his heart. And one that is self-sacrificing for the greater good. He’s really hot in my head.

2.      Luca – from Komal Kant’s With Me series – I’m in love with Luca. I wish he was my high school boyfriend. I have seriously reread the book six times, and when did it come out?

3.      Four – from Veronica Roth’s Divergent – OMG – Talk about schmexy. He’s tough, a bad ass, and sweet and gentle to Tris. He’s different and not in the divergent way.

4.      Kaiden – from Wendy Higgins’ Sweet Evil series- besides the fact that he and I have the same last name (married name is Rowe) I do believe we are destined. Classic bad boy reformed! I cannot wait for the third installment of this series just to see him again.

5.      Henry – from Amiee Cater The Goddess Test series – OK – by now you have it figured out that I love a bad boy with a soft side. Henry is literally Hades and the definition. At one point, I really think he broke my heart in the series. Book 2. Anyone else cry at that part. But I love him.

Interesting! Do you have any in common with Michelle? I don't have any Book Boyfriends, but I can think of a list of guys I wouldn't mind having as drinking buddies.

Well, there you have it, a blog tour! Check out Gone (you certainly won't regret it) and give Michelle a visit: You can find her at @mflick729 and https://www.facebook.com/mflick729.

Gone by Michelle Flick is NOW Available!

Hi, I meant to get to this sooner but there never seems to be enough time in the day. Michelle Flick's latest novel, Gone is available as an eBook or paperback on Amazon. Drop whatever your doing, head over to Amazon and get your copy. (Okay, maybe finish reading this first.)

Gone is an engaging enjoyable read. Michelle deftly captures the teenage experience of love and loss and learning to move forward. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop because I needed to know what happened next, but more importantly, I needed to know Tess would be okay. Gone is filled with wonderful characters - some you'll love and some you'll love to hate - and memorable moments true to the modern teenage experience. Make Gone your next read.

Bad News and Good News

It has been too long (again) between posts. I've been busy working and writing and otherwise bogged down by life.

The title of the post is accurate.

Bad News: My laptop had an "issue" and I lost much (more than I first thought) of the revision I was working on along with other data. Yes, I had backups, but the loss was still severe.

Good News: The laptop is as good as new. I still have the original version of my novel! I'm not giving up! However, I am going to be even more brutal in my editing as I start a new revision. Yes, I'm scrapping what was left of the revision because it was starting to go in a direction I didn't like.

Until next post: keep reading, keep writing.

Wow, The To-Read Stack Just Keeps Getting Bigger and Bigger!

While working on hardcore revisions, my stack of books to-read keeps growing. So many books and not enough time in the day. So what's on the stack?

Well, the top four on the teetering pile are: Allegiant by Veronica Roth, Breaking Point and Three by Kristen Simmons, and The House of Hades by Rick Riordan. Dystopias and a trip through the underworld! Next up in the stack are Scarlet and Cress by Marissa Meyer. And the titles keep on going. Wow, I've got a ton of reading to catch up on!

Back to the revisions and fleeting glances at my to-read titles.

Oops! Too Long Between Updates - Again.

A whole month! Shame on me. My only defense: I've been writing my butt off.

Writing goes well. Against the Odds is coming along nicely, and I'm doing a drastic revision on Helix. Thank goodness for copy and paste, I can't imagine doing such a hardcore revision without knowing the original manuscript remained intact.

I'm also in the process of developing a cover for Helix. An interesting process to be sure.

Looking forward to March and posting more frequently. I've managed to squeeze in a bit of reading, so I hope to have a review in the coming days.
